The paint contains three pigments: PY3 and PY74 (arylid yellow) as well as PW6 (titanium white). A small amount of titanium white is used to balance the two yellow pigments and create a yellow color suitable for color mixing. Primary Yellow is one of Tri-Art's primary colors and can be combined with Primary Cyan and Primary Magenta to mix other colors. The paint is semi-opaque, has medium-high color intensity and very good lightfastness.
