High Viscosity is a professional acrylic paint with a high pigment concentration, finely ground pigments and a binder based on 100% acrylic polymer.

The paint has a thick, buttery consistency that allows brushstrokes and textures from a palette knife to retain their shape. It is suitable for both traditional acrylic painting and impasto techniques with thicker layers of paint. The colors can be mixed together, thinned with water or combined with various acrylic mediums.

Prussian Blue (Hue) is a deep, dark blue color with a violet undertone reminiscent of ultramarine blue. The color contains two organic pigments, PB15:1 (phthalocyanine blue) and PV23 (dioxazine violet). It is a modern imitation of traditional Prussian blue, as the original pigment is not stable in the alkaline environment of acrylic paint. The color is transparent and has high color strength and very high tinting strength. It is suitable for glazing and color mixing, where it produces deep blue and blue-violet shades. Prussian Blue (Hue) has excellent lightfastness and dries to a glossy finish.

Made in Canada.

Color information

Volume: 60 ml

Color: Prussian Blue (Hue)

Pigments: PB15:1 (phthalocyanine blue), PV23 (dioxazine violet)

Lightfastness: Excellent (4/4), ASTM II

Opacity: Transparent

Gloss level: Glossy

The color samples show, from left to right:

1:10 with white | 1:1 with white | Original color (Mass tone) | 1:1 with gel | 1:10 with gel

The color in the middle shows the color directly from the tube.
