Canvas board

Canvas panels that are ready to paint on directly

A canvas panel is a board covered with a painter's canvas. The board can be made from various materials such as wood or cardboard. Cardboard is an inexpensive and affordable option for hobby artists and is mainly used for pouring art and acrylic paintings.

Canvas panels provide a stable surface and are ready to paint on directly, and are available in several different formats.

A few tips along the way

It's easy to get confused about the terms canvas board and "dukpannå". Canvas board has a rigid support, often cardboard or hardboard, with glued-on and gesso-treated canvas. A "dukpannå" is a Swedish word that is fundamentally the same thing. However, it can also refer to other supports, such as MDF or hardboard painted directly, without canvas.
